This led me to genres I hadn’t previously considered, such as works for string orchestra or quirky marimba miniatures or music for animations. Nancy Tucker is an accomplished composer and performer with a lifelong career of live performance and recording for children and adults.  Her music features melodic Fingerstyle guitar compositions, inventive percussion-isms, moving string-quartets and lyrical ingenuity. 

Awards and recognitions include - Indie of the Year Award for outstanding achievement and exemplary dedication to the independent music industry, Gold Parents’ Choice Award, Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award and Lifetime Achievement Award from the Connecticut Songwriters Association. She’s also recorded and released nine of her own CDs and has original compositions on two PARMA releases. She has been composing, performing, and recording music professionally for over 40 years.
